Radio problem

98 boxster

I entered the wrong code into the radio and it says "wait" and it will not allow me to do anything. Now what?

Did you enter it wrong multiple times?

I could be wrong but if it's like my old Audi S4 you need to leave the radio on for 1 hour and than you can retry. but... I could be wrong

Yep, and for that whole hour, the key has to at least be on. When mine did that, I spent the hour driving around listening to the engine.

i was just at becker and the thing is like someone mentioned you have to keep the ignition on not so much the engine has to be on but just the radio and the key turned to accessories. This has to be done for 60 mins straight. Then you see that it says **** code .
