Huh???

When your starting bid is $129,000.00, perhaps you could give me a little more information.

Yeah thats a very lite discription for a 129k car. I like what he did to that boxster.
He would have been better off with a discription of:

Porsche, Car, Windows, 4 Tires, Engine, Steering Wheel, Seat for Driver and Passengers.

He claims Ferrari's and Lambo's look like ordinary SEDANS next to this 964......Last I checked neither of those two companies made SEDANS

4.5 seconds for 130k? I can get 2.9 seconds in an Atom for 60k, and I can even see what my front wheels and suspension are doing in it.

You'd think the seller would give a little background on the car. Like how he came up with something so very ugly.... I kid.

No, I don't. It is a very ugly car.

And +1 to TriGem's statement. Those cars aren't sedans, but I'm no expert.

He must be alittle too proud of his own work. So much for not tooting your own horn

isn't is a converted 911?

Agree on the rediculous price for no description. Might be a salvage title with new body panels or something...

I have to admit - it looks good.

He needs to hand it over to Jeremy Clarkson for a top gear test.

Mindboggling, what a person is capable of doing given enough time and money to waste. Then again, where would we (mankind) be without dreamers like this?

Z.

P.S. That's one extremely ugly car. I'd take a Ferrari sedan over it, any time.

I find nothing pleasing to the eye on that car. Reminds me of something from a child's tv show. Speed Racer perhaps?

Actually, the Mach 5 was a very good looking car, even if it was a cartoon. This thing reminds me of a cross-eyed eel.

I think they had some cool concepts. Unfortunately, they tried to stick them all on one vehicle.

"Porsche, Car, Windows, 4 Tires, Engine, Steering Wheel, Seat for Driver and Passengers" - CJ, that was classic.

Oh my...

That looks like the love child of a transformer one of those cars-that-can-also-be-a-boat things.

And those doors are hysterical looking when flipped up. Reminds me of a TRex with their stubs.

Maybe that's what I like about it.

Very nice. If you're into cartoon looking kit cars based on a scaled up Hot Wheels...

Hi,

Seems a bit over the top to me, especially for $129k. I did run the VIN listed and it is a 1990 964 Coupe w/ 3.6L NA engine (C2 or C4) made for the US/Canada market. Further, CarFax had 14 records for this car, which in and of itself means nothing, I wasn't going to pay for the full report though.

My concerns (especially with the lack of info provided) would be can you even import this car to the US? Is it still EPA, DOT and OBDII compliant? You'd want to know that before peeling off the Dead Presidents for sure.

I do like the Center seating arrangement for the driver however. The styling certainly didn't emmanate from Turin, but it does kinda grow on you, not totally awful for an independent. If it was fabricated correctly, I bet it could be a fun little roadster - except of course, the engine's in the wrong place ...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

Pretty slick piece, I think. Not a big fan of the see-through doors, nor the white instruments, but at least it's different than the plastic GT imitations people usually come up with.

its funny that its advertised as a 1/4 miles car, lol

you can make pretty much any car on the road go faster in a 1/4 mile than that for wayyyyyyy less $

BUT, i like the originality and how it turned out
