yeah i called up another shop and they said there's really no way a burned out clutch can break the slave cylinder. i'm not sure why they said it's not driveable...

right now im considering driving the car to another shop.. or at least having it towed. i feel like i'm being totally ripped off despite the shop being recommended by several people.
