I miss Cali!
I figured it out the other day, it's the roads. I miss driving in Cali, Bay Area. Here in NOVA, there are no real roads to get going on. At least in my near vicinity. When I lived in Cali, I had access to 680/280, 101 and 237, all within 10 minutes. Nice stretches of road, with semi-decent drivers.
If I moved back, I'd be jobless... But I could drive again! Maybe I'm bummed due to the winter here, I don't like driving in cold weather (starting the car, warming it up) I'd rather not drive, then to worry about starting a cold car, and to drive it on salt ridden roads...
Sorry for my rant...
But I really miss Cali... And your pics look great!
:'(
Also, the roads out here are horrible... Pothole heaven!
I was born in DC, raised in Va, lived in the Bay Area for around 12 years, now I'm back in Va...

@ unkle,
Please tell me you pulled along side the Carrera GT while driving to hear the engine. That engine just screams Porsche at it's finest!

WOW!
I would feel so outcasted in my little boxster next to those cars.
I probably wouldn't even be able to keep up!

thanks guys...that day was really awesome and the weather is perfect
yes it is indeed a priceless moment. that's his 2nd run already
if you look at the 2nd picture, that's the closest i've come to the Carrera GT, close enought to hear that engine roar like a jet
No Bav. Moto...they feel outcasted that's why they didnt park close to me
one thing......the turns that our Boxster could take is amazing!
Next stop = D/E on the 24th and AX on the 3rd of March @ Monster Park SF

 Good luck man.
I have yet to take any real turns in my Boxster. I need to find a parking lot around here.

Nice pics! Great of you to spend quality time with your son! I wish more people did that these days. Looks like you're probably going to have an enthusiast on your hands!

You are right! I think it started on the first time I took him with me...hopeful when he reached the driving age, he would ask for a lesser, more affordable car first . Well, actually, he has no choice but to get a used, 4 cyl. 158 hp car

Man UK, those are some great pics. The CGT is my "when I win the lotto" car. I'd have to get one in Forest Green Metallic, though.
