Haha, he did, didnt he. I cleverly slipped that one in there at the right moment.... Its all about the timing with the comments to Jim.

When in the box, I usually wave to any other Porsche I see. Rarely do I get a return wave up here in Chicago, but that doesn't bother me one bit...

Now the motorcycle is a different story. I always give the "left hand down" wave to other bikes, and almost always get the same in return. Even though I ride a Harley I wave at all makes and models. A lot of the "die hard" Harley guys will only wave to other Harleys, but since I spent 10 years driving crotch rockets before I became a "Harley Guy" I will acknowledge any bike, regardless of make or model.

Now if it would just warm up so I could drive either one of them I would be a happy man

Nick

Agreed. I don't particularly care WHICH bike. I remember stopping someplace and talking bikes with a guy at the bar. The question inevitably came up about what we rode. He sheepishly stated he had some old Yamaha. To which I responded, "Yeah, but DO YOU RIDE"? He smiled and stated, "Every day I can". Those are the guys that get the "low two finger peace sign wave" - not the "I have a $60,000 Bourget, I couldn't tell you what kind of cam I'm running, but gee I look good in all this new Harley gear" riders. Riding an older Harley I'm also particularly sensitive to bikes stuck on the side of the road. Those get the "Thumbs-Up/Thumbs-Down" to see if they need help.

Amen to that. I did manage to get out for a few days last weekend - Gorgeous.
