The alignment won't show if it's been wrecked... only if it's been repaired poorly or not at all. A good mechanic can look over the car on a lift and see what's been replaced or is far newer than the rest of the car.

Some guys use a paint density meter all over the car to see if any panels have been bondo'd or resprayed where the paint is thicker or thinner than factory specs.
