Jeph, it is an outside mall. And the restuarant will be open past 8:00 PM. I think I may be able to make it for just one drink and a hand shake, but my daughters will be with me. I might miss Desperate Housewives though...bummer!

Lou Malnatis?

(La Sorella Di Francesca is good too, but may be a bit too much for a casual get together.)

Unless anyone has any other suggestions, I'd really love to VETO the BWW.

I just suggested BWW because its easy to find and we've got folks coming from all over.

Where ever you guys decide is fine with me.

Hey Guys, good news! I got a babysitter for a few hours on Sunday night.

I know Naperville would be a good location for "our guest of honor" so how about the bar in Sullivan's Steakhouse? I am also checking with a few contacts for other good places in Naperville. La Sorella would be good too, they have a bar area, but small.

I will tape (yes, I still use a VCR!) Desperate Housewives!

My friend Oprah told me never to eat past 7:30 PM!

I thought we were just meeting for drinks?

In downtown Naperville, I suggest:

Sullivan's Steakhouse (large bar)
La Sorella (smaller bar)
Hugo's Frog Bar (not been there, but hear it's nice/good)

I was looking for a burger joint previously, but I have come to realize that you shouldn't go to a pizza town and get a burger. It's like inviting you all to Dallas for our excellent sea food over "Tex-mex." Just curious, are there any unique (delicious) burger joints in Naperville?

Anyway, the pressure's on! I get to pick... Whoohoo!

I was leaning toward La Sorella, but I can understand the over-priced chick-food argument. I believe I've had Sullivan's in Downtown and my chicken was dry (yeah, chicken at a steakhouse), and they have those in Dallas too. So that's not looking too keen. Hugo's Frog Bar looks good, but it's expensive (pdf file)!

As it stands, Lou Malnati's (pizza joint) is in the lead. Thanks for all the suggestions and keep 'em coming if you have any last minute ideas. I don't know about you guys, but I plan on eating!

Just to get an idea of how many people to expect, can I get a roll call? Holler if you're not listed.

Chills, where were ya man? We were on your turf!

It was terrific to meet you all. You're all so normal and stuff -so unlike most other Porsche people I've met before. Thanks for making the conclusion to my Chi-town trip so great.

Bill, I forgot to get your autograph. Maybe next time. Nick, nice job on getting yourself a Texas girl! Patrick, good luck with your new job -may you engineer the heck out of those pipe projects. Mladen, thanks for the brief Serbian lessons.

It was amazing to see Đomlas' car in person -like spotting a celebrity! Here's a picture of NickCats and me standing next to the most photographed car on the board!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a flight to catch back to Dallas today... it's supposed to be 61 degrees today...

Here's a few pix from the Chicago Auto Show.

Sorry I didn't make it out, guys. You were right up the road from me, too.

Looks like you had fun, though. I'll be out next time.

It was great to meet all of you and I'm even more excited about the TOD trip!

Thanks for the drinks bmusatti and Jeph for the pizza!

DJ, your car looks awesome in person! The first thing my better half said when we got out to walk into Lou's was she thought the green Boxster looked great! The deamber job looks awesome!

Autocross season is only a month or two away. As of right now both Chicago and Milwaukee SCCA clubs have events starting the middle of April.
