WHAT? That's NOT what I said. Read it agian, I said it comes with it's own "housing", not it's own MAS! All I was trying to say is that you have to re-locate the MAS into the new "housing" that is outside of the airbox on the tubing. The TrueFlow uses the stock airbox which is also where the MAS is seated. So you don't have to move it. Maybe housing isn't the best word for me to be using, but it's just a whole where the MAS goes into. On most, it's just a rubber-like gromet. On EVO's it's a hard plastic-like casing/housing that is just before the airbox, between the tubing. Look at these pictures.

Thats cool. But I noticed he originally said PowerFlow??? Not TrueFlow. Is he talking about another intake, or was he just getting the name wrong? PowerFlow sounds like a better name, that's for sure. Also, I found out that the TrueFlow "Kit" has been discontinued. They now ONLY carry the filter. I'm glad I got mine before they stopped making them.

I think I would just rather fabricate my own intake pipe... design it in such a way that the elbow/bends are as gradual as possible.

That's a great idea! After looking at the TrueFlow, I realized I could have made one myself and found everything I needed to do it at PepBoys.

sorry for misscommunication, this one has its own C&C machined housing for MAF (i dont know if that better than the plastic EVO one or not) and does require to take everythign off just like the EVO, its the same thing, but does not have a shield, so i dont really know what you saw or where you saw it.

this is the gist that they say, with real dyno data, so...
" A frequent poster on the Boxster Racing Board installed one and did before/after dyno tests. It resulted in an impressive 14 horsepower and 12 lbs/ft torque gain. This was on top of power he'd already gained from installing a "Danske" muffler"

so i guess it will do something for power, but add the sound. we shall see
