Video interview about the 2007 Boxster engine

It's interesting to hear his take on modding... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jssaKaD2oow

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

I think it is just amazing that someone would let some schmoe
who doesn't know a camshaft from a connecting rod interview
someone like that.

The engineer guy must have been wondering just where do
you find someone that ignorant and why would you let them
interview me?

Obviously the TV producers know nothing either or they would
surely have been able to find someone at least slightly knowledgeable
on the topic of automobiles.

What idiots.

And I must not forget, look who they play to -- the general public.
And the general public may be more ignorant that that guy.

Kinda sad, eh?

Oh well, back to the salt mine...

Haha, I was thinking the same thing. He must have thought that guy was such an idiot. Looks like it was just for some small website. Explains the crappy production value and people walking in front of the camera. I still found it interesting.

Did the engineer say there's a 100k miles warranty on the engine?

Nope. It's btw the 4th and 5th minutes of the clip. If I can hear well, he mentions both 160k kms and 100k miles.

Maybe it is... What did Porsche put on your sales slip for the '06? Maybe they are changing for '07.
