There are actually instructions in the manual about this. There's a little hole in the plastic wheel well cover right behind the markers. The hole is covered with a rubber plug. Take the plug out, and insert a screwdriver into the hole. While pushing the internal release with the screwdriver, pull out the marker out with your fingers.

Hope this helps.

this is correct a small screw driver and wiggle it around till you find the part you have to push on....I would recommend you don't just pull it out, there was a member on the board that pulled his out and said they never really clicked in snug again on his 987.....scrrew driver and read the manual....I will say the angle the manual says to take seems a bit off....so move it around and you'll know when you found the clip....

Side Marker Light Replacement

I just completed this last week Rondog. Your black car will look much better with the clear marker light as did my Seal Grey. Use the plugged hole in the wheel wheel for sure. Your working blind so to get an idea of the angle the screw driver needs to be at, hold the new light up next to the installed one - it helped me. Basically its the springy stainless steel clip that you need to push on.

See you manual for an overview of the procedure. That "bayonet" clip that holds the electrical connector on was the hardest part. Gotta pry that thing off with the same small screw driver.

I think you might be thinking of my amberectomy threads. Go ahead and click the link in my signature and it'll take you down the right path.

But yeah, what the other guys said is accurate. I personally did the "just yank it" thing and didn't have a problem--that was when I switched to the clear instead of amber corners.

The second time I pulled the corners though (to install the non-amber bulbs) I used the screwdriver method, which actually is a bit tricky to do (probably gets easier withi practice), but better than accidently screwing up your car!
