Not trying to start a global-warming debate of any sort, but it really seems that we may be headed towards trouble (or knee-deep in it already).

Just another reason, among many, that I'm happy to live in the generation I do, rather than a later one.

Hi,

I'm not yet thoroughly convinced that it is Global Warming, but the evidence does increasingly seem to be mounting in favor of it. In any event, it sure is getting weird. Maybe Al Gore started it just to extricate himself from obscurity...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

global warming is killing the polar bear, ice caps melting bears can't travel for food over the ice.

Global warming MY KEISTER!!

That's my car Wednesday night... with about 1" of ice on it. Down here in Central Texas! BRRRRRR!!!

And as a contrast, our summers have been more mild in recent years. I think in 02 or 03, we had 90 days in a row that went over 100 degrees. Last summer, I think we only broke 100 a handful of times.

986 S enblem

Hey,

Does anyone know where can I order the "986 S" enblem?

I know I can get the "986" at Suncoast but they don't sell it with the "S"
And I don't want to order a "Boxster S" for over $40 just to get the S.

Can I order the "986" and re-use my old "S".
But that would mean I need to take it off and glue it back on.
What glue would I use to NOT damage the paint?

Thanks

I tried removing my emblem..used goo gone but did not remove the residue. The adhesive was on for good and was afraid of scratching paint..ultimately put the emblem back on..

You can buy an "S" here

http://986online.com/cgi-local/ASI_Store.cgi?Category+Body-Boxster+Boxster+2

But you might as well save yourself some money and re-use your current S and just buy a "986" logo.
