AOS replacememt

I am replacing the AOS on my 02 986 S. I bought a replacement from Porsche dealership. Do I need an extended line that feeds into AOS? I heard the design changed do the line might be to short?
Thanks.

I had read that too but I was able to replace the AOS on my '98 using the existing line (which is good as the replacement is kind of pricey).

DWBOX, perhaps is a good time to replace the accordeon hoses as well, since these age and become very brittle I know means more expense but that way you will not have to do the job twice..

The accordeon hose that goes to the top of the bank 2 is accesible by removing the cover behind the seats and you don't have to remove the intake plennum

Sorry, I don't.. but the AOS has two plastic 'accordeon hoses' a short one that connects the AOS to the hose right next to the throttle body and a long one connecting the AOS to a valve in top of the cylinder head (#4..?) right behind the driver seat.

These hoses are thin walled and will dry up with time (and heat) and become very brittle, let me try to find a P/N for you.

EDIT: The hoses that I am talking about are included on this kit
