So let me get this straight before I place an order. You can use Z-2 without the ZFX accelerator kit? How many layers of the Z-2 do you guys use? Can it be topped/sealed with a carnuaba?

Yeah I read that and also read this off of their website,a little confusing;
Z-2 Confusion
"And while a single application of Z-2 PRO™ should provide months of long lasting good looks, Z-2 PRO™ can be layered for even greater results."

"NOTE: Z-2 PRO™ is extremely durable and should provide at least 6 months of protection for your vehicle. If your goals are maximum shine and maximum protection on everyday vehicles, we recommend 3-4 applications per year. For show car owners, multiple coats will provide the wettest-looking, deepest, most distortion-free finish you can imagine."

Hey Blink, you won't need (or want any) carnuaba after using the Z2. I have only used the ZFX a few times. Not really needed if you have ample drying time between coats.
I have a total of about 30 coats of Z2 and Z5 (interchangable) on my car right now.

Hey Nick:
Merry Christmas to you and "C"!! I hope you had a great first-Christmas together!
Z5 is a great project, and has a little/slight stratch cover quality to it. You can use Z2 one day and Z5 the next. They are completely compatible with each other.

Hi,
The Z5 has some scratch filler in it and is 95% Optically Pure (Transparent) while the Z2 lacks the fillers and is 98% Optically Pure (according to Sal Zaino). In plain english, the Z2 shines a little better...
Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
