what are some that i will need and what i wont, and is there some that i can get locally, like the harley store (and which are those, couse ive heard that some are similar/same)

Last I knew Zaino products are only available from Zaino and Zaino only! I beleive the detailing product that you are referring to that you can buy from a Harley store is S100(basically relabeled P21S).

If you want a long lasting paint protection product you should really check out Zymol,I really like it. It's lasted quite a few months and still looks good. When I detailed the car I kept it simple;

Wash,Mother's Pre-Wax Cleaner then 2 layers of Zymol.

It wasn't the shinniest detail job I have done but heck,I'm not argueing with how long it's last. It's outlasted the Mother's 3 step system,some Zaino products(from what Zaino users have told me) and the higher end Meguiar's products.

It's pricey for wax,about $20 but heck if you want a nice shine that last forever get it.
