austinporsche Registered User Join Date: Aug 2019 Location: Austin, TX Posts: 54	Removing shift knob from a 1998 986? I've read that to remove the shift knob on the early 986s, all you do is pull up on it firmly? Is it really this easy? Don't want to muck it up, so just checking to see if it is that easy and if there are any tricks. Thanks in advance for any help.
