Sensor ID

Greetings all! Is the unplugged sensor at the rear of the bank 2 cylinder head, visible at the bottom center of the attached photo, the cam position sensor for that bank on my ‘03 S? I couldn’t find a photo of the sensor “in situ” anywhere. Tricky getting hand in to remove the bolt, so wanted to confirm I have the right sensor.

Correct, it is 996 606 106 03. They changed from MY03 onwards but kept position. Only one screw but you will need a new O-Ring 999 707 404 40!

Many thanks for your response! I was fairly sure that was it, but all the info seemed to say it was located on “top” of the head towards the rear, rather than on the rear end of the cam case.
