Axle or CV boot options

I bought my car (2000 S 6 spd) off BaT in October and PO put rock auto Trakmotive axles on the car. They were doing fine but once I hit triple digit speeds, like my last lapping day, the boot gives way making awful mess. Pulled the axles today to find the outer joint flange is not the same as the OE one so the boots from GKN dont fit and I cannot find a replacement boot anywhere for these axles outer CV. my guess is, if i could it would be cheap crap rubber that would split at track speeds again.

So I am asking if anyone with track or high speed performance driving experience knows of options out there. FCP euro seems to have Porsche Brand axles but at 1200 a piece! i just need quality rubber boots, so it is hard to swallow that pill, but I may have to. So far I have had to pull an axle out on this car 5 times either replacing a crappy boot, or crappy clamps that slipped allowing the boot to fling its grease everywhere. The amount of brake cleaner i have used for all of these messes is criminal.

ANYONE have proven suggestions that will withstand track speeds? I was having no problems, not even at autoX, but the track speed is high enough I guess.

Cheers!

I've had the boots tear, and just found that they were torn again, even with OEM axles. The replacement CV axles from 3P (made in China typically) are cheap crap and will fail even faster. I'm torn too cause 1200/part on a car worth 10K is tough to justify

Why not look for used OEM axles and put new grease and OEM boots on them and get all 4 for about $600 or less? Put a post in parts wanted and see if any users have some. Or do a junkyard search. You can usually find out how many miles the donor car had.
