Strange sound... engine running rough

Years ago, I bought a 99 boxster base with 45k miles off copart.

I finally got it running, thanks to a member suggesting the replacement battery I purchased at autozone was bad. Took it back... got a new one. It ran ok for a bit.

The check engine light told me it needed an oil separator which I ignored since I didn't drive it much.

Last fall, we had a bad storm. I moved it 10 feet to get it out of harms way. I thought a tree would fall on it.

After the storm, I started it to move it back to it's spot.

However, once started, it ran rough. I hit the throttle and it made a bad squeeze and died. Wouldn't start again.

Any ideas?
