Too me, I would think the 3.2L would have a throatier sound because of the larger displacement and because of it's exhaust. IMO, it sounds pretty darn good for a stock system, especially from 5k-7.2K like you said. I believe the redline is 7.4k on the 2.7L. The added displacment kills off 200 rpm on the S.
