I’m Trying To Be A Good Forum Member…
Hello,
I’m trying to be a good member with my posts/responses but I can’t figure out what I MUST be doing wrong.
I have succinct titles with clear conveyance.
My write-up(s) use proper English, correct punctuation and clear expression. No ambiguity and certainly nothing of controversy.
I am often able to start a thread and when posting a response I am met with a message stating that my post/reply will be delayed in publishing until it is reviewed by the admins. Ok, I get it. Some level of oversight could be considered reasonable for a public forum but I can’t see why my posts/replies NEVER pass muster. I have attempted to reach out to the admins via a couple of the ways I think this board is set up and have never had a response. I have no idea where any of my comms go after I hit submit.
This latest instance is in response to a post I put up yesterday and got a very solid reply by Burg Boxster. I attempted to thank him/her/she/him/shim for the quick reply and asked for an opinion on a YouTube video that I found relevant to the very specific question and included the link. I even gave guidance on the specific time in the video that is/was relevant to be helpful. I know how the world works. Put in some effort (or at least make it seem so) before you put your hand out for assistance AND make it easy for folks to help you.
I wrote my reply in the forum text box, previewed the message to verify that the link worked and all looked good and hit “Post Reply.” And guess what I got? I’m still waiting for the benevolent admins to review and, with any luck, approve my post.
So, what am I doing wrong?
This Boxster owner would like to know,
Morgan
