SUCESS!!!!! I got the bolt out in spite of myself.!

The extractor kit did not work. The 17mm was too small and the 18mm was too big. The 18 may have worked except that the shaft on the lug stands only 3/10th of an inch clear of the key slots and it may not have protruded enough for the die to sufficiently bite.

Plan B was to drive an 11/16th 12-point socket onto the bolt. Holding my breath I drove it on and put the breaker bar on and, amazingly, it worked

When the AOS has been installed, I'll figure out what it will take to get the bolts out of the other 3 wheels.

Think I'll have beer to celebrate.

Enjoy that beer! And then execute Plan B 3 more times!

Indeed, repeat on the others and replace with standard bolts. I went down this same route when I bought my car a year ago and it didn't have the key.

Congrats on getting the lug bolt out. It sounds like you have a decent idea of what's involved with the AOS replacement, but this may still be helpful. I tried to keep it short and to the point without a lot of extra 'fluff'.

If you want, I can mail you 4 plain lug bolts for $25. I can include an assortment of lug keys on the condition that you return them at your expense. No guarantee that any of them will fit:

Yes, it is a genuine one. And it is well designed, knowing well what lies ahead ...

Thanks for the offer on the replacement lugs, but by the time I saw it, I had already ordered some.
