help! the plastic piece that holds up the headliner is broke

the plastic piece the holds the headliner in place that runs from left to right is broke and the headliner slightly drops, worse is the rattle this piece makes

my local shop took it apart to show me and wanted to fix it with rivets...I told him I'd look for the part (he said it wasn't available).

anyone had this experience?!?!?!?

I bet it's available used. Call LA Porsche Dismantlers or Oklahoma Foreign. I'm sure they'll have it for you.

no luck at Oklahoma Foreign.....and LA PD will not take this piece apart from a roof assy....NOW WHAT!??
