Hi Guys,

I hit a nasty pothole the Power steering screamed, the steering got heavy and there was fluid leak at the top of the engine. Any ideas? Cheers

No remote diagnosis possible. Could be a burst hose -- or worse ;-)

Considering that the problem was induced by hitting a pothole, I'd start by looking underneath the car where the power steering fluid tubing runs from the engine to the steering rack. If that looks undamaged and there's no damage to the front suspension, it may have somehow damaged the pump. The most likely place for a leak 'on top' of the engine would be the overflow tube on the PS reservoir.

Clean the fluid that has leaked on top of the engine.
If you refill the reservoir: Does the PS immediately leak? Does the PS work?

I had a bad PS pump in a car a few years ago and made a short video when I replaced it. It may be helpful:

Note: Make sure to use the correct PS fluid to refill.
Pentosin CHF11S, CHF 202, or other *compatible* fluid.
