Door pull straps
I'm sure a lot of people will find these dorky but I really like them. Makes grabbing the door handle really easy to grab. Plus they had orange.

I used to be able to open the door with one finger in the handle, my arthritis is now bad enough that one fingering is uncomfortably painful, two fingers is a bit better. With this strap I could grab it with my hand which would be better. When I have time I will see if I can make something with some nylon strapping and an hour or two of work. Will post if I succeed. Should be possible for a bit less than $150... like probably materials on hand and $0.

Sounds good. I'd pay far less than $157. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

It ain't orange and it ain't purty... but it works.
Loop of webbing.
Loop looped around the door handle.
Much easier to pull, thanks for the idea JBauer.

Not terrible... but JBs smooth looking ride commands the $150+ alternative.
EL... back to the drawing board.

Agreed, but note that the webbing I used was from and old strap that was lying around in my garage. A new strap in the colour of your choice would look better.

Double bonus of repurposing something that would probably end up in some landfill and keeping $170 in your pocket. win-win!

Good job! I'm spoiled now, no going back. I'm suggesting he rename the part to
Old Fart Door Handle Assist Straps.

Yeah, looking good.
