Happy 25th Birthday to My 2000 986
The manufacturer's information sticker on my door says that it conforms with all U.S. standards as of 09/99. The first owner of the car provided me with his service records and the receipts from the dealer show a production date of 9/11/1999. The delivery date was 11/2/1999. 
I have the window sticker which shows that the MSRP for the car was $48,516 which is equivalent to $91,672 in today's dollars.
