Convertible Top

hello,

2000 Boxster, base model, 2.7L engine, triptonic. I just had the convertible top replaced with an upgraded window type from the plastic.

The convertible top opens halfway and that is it. I can close it, the clamshell opens and closes fully, but the process stops when the convertible top reaches the halfway point.

No weird noises from the convertible top motor or clicking or grinding noises from the convertible top transmission (L/R). It just stops mid-way.

Any suggestions on where to start?

As usual, thanks for all the comments & help.

Are the mechanism arms installed correctly? Is #9 in the diagram generally oriented like an "A" vs like a "V"?

78F350 nailed it - I believe that is the behavior if you install these upside down.
