Identify this rubber part...

Hello, I have a '98 Boxster and I have been rebuilding the convertible top transmissions due to cracked/broken plastic gears - so I have been spending a lot of time in that area. My son drove off in the car and I noticed this rubber piece laying on the ground. The car was parked on the street so I don't even know that it is from the Boxster, but believe it is. It was very dirty so it seams to be exposed to rain water or under the car? Anyway, anyone know where this rubber piece goes?

size-wise, it looks like it could be a piece of the weather seal on the back edge of the top.

Thanks - I took a look and all the rubber around the top is present. I found it in the street, so it might not be from the Boxster, but I was working on the Boxster top in the street that day.

It actually looks like a piece of weather strip from the bottom of the door
