Help with wheels question

I picked up some chrome sport design wheels from a 911. They are 10 X 18 ET 65 and 8 X 18 ET52. I will need like 15mm or so spacer. I know people use these. Are they safe? I always heard spacers are bad. Can I see some pictures of that size on a 986? So I can see how they look and how much poke they have?
