2003 Boxster S
I had the common issue with the window not dropping quite enough when the handle is lifted, so opened up the door and added a zip tie under the window regulator cable to take out some of the slack. So far, so good...
I then reset the regulator limits top and bottom to restore one-touch open and close.
However - once the limits are reset, when I close the window, it immediately reverses to about half open once it reaches the top limit. And that also erases the limits, so they need to be reset again.
My current workaround it to use the key in the door to close the window once I've gotten out, but that's not a long term solution.
Has anyone got any ideas as to what I did wrong, or what I can try to correct this?
