convertible top window fell out

My 2001 S glass window fell out of the top. It didn't break. the top was installed in 2015. The installer says he can't glue it back in. I'm selling the car and don't really want to put a new top on it. Has anybody had this happen and were you able to get it glued back in? The top is like new otherwise. I live in central North Carolina. Does anybody know a shop in this area?

I'm assuming that a previous owner of your car had the top replaced, and you don't have a receipt for the work.

My understanding is that the majority of the replacement tops are manufactured by a company called GAHH although the top may have been sold by a different company such as Auto Tops Direct. I suggest that you contact GAHHhttps://gahh.com/ and ask for their suggestions. I thought that GAHH offered a lifetime guarantee on the window bonding, but that is likely to apply only to the original purchaser.

Good luck.

Best solution...

Price appropriately and qualified buyer will figure out...

(also will help weed out tire kickers...)

replaced top

I did have the top installed in 2015 and have the receipt. I called the shop who installed and he asked what kind of top it is. He didn't note that on the receipt so I'm going to have him look at it. I hope it turns out that it is a GAHH top. Other wise I may try to glue it back as indicated in other post on the forum. Thanks
