Vacum valve question

Boxster 2003 s .
Hi. I have my engine redy to but back in the car.
I think i found every connection , just not surtain
About this vacuum valve. Does anyone know were it goes and
If its suppose to have a hose connected?
As i recall it was close to the throttle and didnt have
Hose where there is no hose 🙂.

Very happy for suggestions so i can get on with it

It looks like there is a broken off piece where the vacuum hose *should* be plugged into the grey valve, at the top (in the photo) perpendicular to the hose coming out the top. Is there a hose not connected anywhere that has a piece of grey plastic in it? I don't know if it will help, since you would not have an SAI, but this thread has some helpful information in it.
