Will any 996 bumper work for a Boxster S?

Good morning, I called one of the NorCal salvage yards and they have a couple 996 and 986 S bumpers in my color available.

If I decide to go with a 996 bumper do I need to find one from a tiptronic vehicle? I thought I read somewhere that only the tiptronics have a center cutout that would work with the third radiator on my 2001 S.

Is that true or will any 996 bumper work?

It would have to be a 996.1 bumper, the 996.2's have different headlights so the cutouts are wrong, unless you get 996.2 headlights as well. Worst case you can cutout the 3rd rad hole by hand if necessary.

Thanks, I should have clarified that I am only looking at a 996.1 bumper. I was wondering if they all have the third radiator cut out or an “indent” that I can cut out. Like on the gt3 bumpers.

I don't think they all have the cutout, but I've not extensively researched it.
