Interior Door Handle Microswitch

Hi folks,

Today I attempted to fix my wonky driver's side window behavior. Neither the exterior or interior door handle microswitches seem to be working correctly. When I pull either one the window doesn't go down. Yet, when I open the door the window drops the correct amount. So, to open the door, I use either handle, pull the door out just a tiny bit, wait for the window to drop (and it stays dropped) then I can open/close the door no problem.
I changed the outside door handle microswitch today. When I removed the exterior door handle and operated the microswitch it made the correct noises. I could hear solenoids firing but no movement. This also happens when I try to lock the door at times, or even while driving! So, I figured the old M/S was working fine and the new one wasn't going to change anything. I was correct. I put the new M/S in because, why not, it was $39 and I'd already purchased it.
While reassembling I noticed the interior door handle M/S look fried. I don't think it's supposed to look that way. Thoughts? Thank you.
