Squealing brakes

Hello to everyone! I've recently purchased a boxster and it seems that when I'm going slow or reversing, the brakes squeal. The dealer had told me that 2 of the brakes were new. Could it be squealing because the brakes are new and it needs some time for it to break in? Or could there be other reasons this could be happening? Any help will be greatly appreciated. By the way, its an automatic.
