Yes it does. The original owner also added speakers behind the seats on either side of the storage compartment. While the factory stereo is not that great, the additional speakers add alot.
I use the storage compartment for the bag with the hardtop parts.
Was this an option?
Also, the car was built in 11/98 and at the German factory as confirmed by the original owner and the VIN number with the S.
