Fuel pump replacement

Does anyone have any experience with the uro or vdo unit? I have to replace the pump and sender and will need to purchase one asap. Also will a used pump or sender work?

If I was in LA, I'd stop by https://www.ladismantler.com/ for a look at what's on hand. In general, I do not recommend buying a used pump, but I have taken a used pump out of my own parts car and had no trouble using it in another car. For new, I'd go with VDO over URO. I have no problem buying a used sender as long as there is no sign of corrosion or cracked insulation on the wires.

I have a couple eBay sellers that I trust for quality or easy returns if I find a problem. I would not buy used unless it was easy to return. Some sellers will sell junk.
