Upgrade..? 987.1 cayman S 3.8 vs 3.4 986

Going to go see and drive a Raby built 3.8 in a 987.1 cayman S today. The car is pretty well cared for and on cayman R suspension with a bunch of other bits to include paddle comversion.

The problem is my 3.4 986 on paper looks equivalent. I’m really hesitant to make the jump but do think the 987 will get more use since it’s a tip and my wife can drive it at events and as needed.

If I get the 987 my gt3 arms, tarret sways, and UIDS will likely make the move over to that car.

Any insight? Yes I know this is a 986 forum, just looking for thoughts.
Thanks
Shawn

***update*** car is no longer for sale, moving on with life maybe I’ll get a 4 door non P Car for me and my wife to enjoy. I was kind of stressed about the decision anyway and the current 986 market does not look very favorable despite the condition of my car.
