A couple years ago I bought some of the cheapest replacement gears I could find on eBay. I got what I paid for. One was good and the other moved backwards. The gears are supposed to be beveled differently for each side. The ones I received were both identical. Lucky for me I had an extra left side transmission to rebuild.
