Front belly pan installed. When I first attached it I found that several 10mm plastic nuts were nearly stripped and at least two of the six metal clips were missing the tangs that secure them. That kind of thing drives me crazy, so I bought a whole new set from 5150motorsport, for about twenty bucks. Then I replaced the existing fasteners, one by one. The large front belly pan itself was perfect, no missing pieces, cracks, or blemishes of any kind, and a once-over with plastic restorer before I installed it made it look almost new. Together with the new fasteners and the brand-new genuine Porsche rear belly pan that's on its way, my 986's underside will be squared away.
