[QUOTE=Luckyman01;655381]The top line is that I have a crank/no start.
My wife thinks that at age 70, I may of lost my clarity and should give up and have it hauled to a qualified mechanic.

Luckyman, first you will have to disconnect your wife's speaker and then proceed with the troubleshooting procedure.. Please don't take me wrong as my wife always tells me that I am too old to keep working on cars..

Seriously, you mentioned that your engine cranks, does the rpm needle moves at all? If not, you may want to start by checking the crank position sensor, here, there are many very capable people that will provide you with helpful tips, you just need to be patient and start troubleshooting one step at the time. Good luck!
