Front end rattle solved

I lifted the car this past weekend to try to diagnose an intermittent front end rattle. After prying and shaking everything visible I discovered that the plastic brake cooling air deflectors attached to the lower control arms were loose. They were clipped on properly but had a fair bit of play in them. I drilled a couple of small holes in them and zip tied around the lower control arms.

No more rattle!
