John,

Me personally, after being online since the beginning of time (UUnet, newsgroups, before the real internet took over the world) would never want someone to publically throw my name out there just for the ask.
With my permission, that is a whole other story.

I'm not John.I was referencing the name pulled from the site identifying whom I believe to be the winner. It's all public information. I can't imagine the winner driving around with his plate obscured.

Have a great day!

Too many spam bots to post someone elses information without their permission. I find it disheartening to see it occur on a day to day basis, but guess in todays day and age, civility is not even considered beforehand.

You find public information disheartening? Do you cover your license plate when driving around? Want to take this to the off-topic discussions?

Straying further from the topic, I thought this poster was a funny joke until I read the book, 'The Pentagon's Brain' about DARPA.

Sadly, privacy is a thing of the past.

I knew they weren't real, and your link confirms it. Freaking fake birds!

I'm not here to fight over nonsense, but I will interject a little common sense here and there. In Ca you can look up ownership by plates, not great if you are being stalked.

PS: In Ca it's true, they don't use birds for surveillance, they use bees
