headlight outer lenses

Is there someone who makes the outer lenses for our headlights?? I sure could use a set.

If someone makes them, I haven't been able to find them. I've refinished my lenses twice and I'm wondering how much longer they will last. If someone identifies a source, please share it.

I wonder whether the relatively small potential market deters companies from investing in the development of replacements. My daily driver is a 2005 Mercedes C230 and replacement lenses are available for that car for about $80. I bought a set and they made the headlights look like new.

I think it wouldn’t be that difficult to work with a small thermoform shop to make polycarbonate lenses for people to replace themselves. Not making the bucket and all that.
Half a mind to do it myself. Add all the 996 people it should be enough volume
