De-pin wires at radio connector

Can some tell me the secret to de-pinning the pins on the radio harness? I need to fix some very short (cut) wires.

Thanks,
Cam

You need a set of pin removal tools.

Thanks JFP, I have access to those. Which one? Is it a single or double release tang?

You are going to have to look at each pin, it is not unusual for a single connector to use multiple styles of pins, which is why you need the tool assortment.

Used the same set for Bosch L jet connectors on my Alfa! As JFP stated, just play with the set till you find something that works.

84 Spider Veloce. Not a show car but 75K miles and no rust and no cracked dash!

I never owned a Spider (one of this days..), but I had two Milano's and have one Alfetta GT that I have not got the opportunity to restore (no cash flow..lol)

The handling and balance of the transaxle Alfa's is incredible and the sound of the V6 with headers is intoxicating :-) I miss my Milano Verde..

Well I didn't have the right tool to remove the pin, but a double pronger made from 30 thou MIG welding wire did the trick!

The real problem is old eyes trying to focus on the small fiddly bits! And I am not even that old...
