Best leather shifter boot ‘99 5-speed
Going in to fix my bad emergency brake switch. Thinking I might as well replace shift boot while I’m in there. I see 4 versions on Pelican Parts.
What boot do you guys recommend! Pelican or elsewhere.

Shift boot
I ordered a custom set from Redline Goods.
High quality materials and fit perfectly.
They offer for many options for customization, too.

I reached out to them with an inquiry for a custom boot for the 98 Tiptronic shifting assembly.
If by custom you mean diferent colored leather... different stitching... etc. Sure.
If you mean custom in the truest sense of the word... not so much.

Found original looking knob and boot on Pelican and will go with that.
Thanks!

I bought a center console lid cover for my 2005 Mercedes C230 from this seller:
https://www.ebay.com/str/jfcustoms
I bought the center console lid cover for my Boxster from Redline. I liked the results: Reupholster Center Armrest in Leather
If you found something you like on Pelican, that's great. We should all consider Pelican first because they sponsor the forum.

I see my console lid is broken - but it's the hinge on the console side not lid. Does the kit have option for my case?

I can vouch for Redline Goods.
I got the shifter, parking brake, and a custom steering wheel.
Well worth it.
