So the guys who showed up to move us were super shady

The one saw my stock exhaust setup in the shop and said in a thick Bosnian accent "how much you want for? Will make nice boat anchor!)

I got psyched because I thought he wanted the muffler. But no, he was only interested in the headers and midpipes. I pulled a number out of my ass and after some haggling we agreed on $300.

We got to talking about it later and he is going to scrap then for the cats. His "cousin" takes them at his scrap yard and he said that they pay $100-$125 PER CAT!

So, if you have an OEM exhaust rusting away in the back of your shop and want to meet some guys in the Missouri charter of the Bosnian mafia, let me know and I will hook you up.

I had an extra exhaust manifold for the CSS laying in the basement. Did a google search and found a cpl places that would give good $$$ for it ($94 & $87 respectively). Decided to take it to our local recycler who buys cats to see if they would come close to that and I wouldn't have to hassle with shipping. They offered $20. F off. Contacted the $94 place. They wanted me to ship it to Malaysia on my dime. F off 2. The $87 place sent me a shipping label so I could send it to NJ. They paid me a day after it arrived thru PayPal. Easy peasy.

The Bosnians tried to steal my wedding ring and another ring that was an Xmas gift from my kids, so this move of mine is off to a hell of a start. Needless to say I won't be referring anyone to them for exhaust sales lol
