What is the part number of this hose?

Can anyone help me with the correct part number for a hose?

The number on the hose is 996-106-049-00. However, I simply can't find it online nor the part guy at the local dealer knows what that number is.

Here are the pictures.
It connects to cooler(?) on the left to a coupling to right.
The other side of the coupling is attached to about 6~8 inch hose I think from the coolant tank.


Here is the hose. It is has 2~3 bends and lives under the manifold, the plastic housing in the top middle of the engine.

Do you have the PET catalog? If not you can get it from Porsche website, page 24. 996.106.249-00 $26 from Pelican.

If it is the hose for the oil cooler you can use any oil resistant coolant hose from any parts store.

Yes, it is the hose connected to the oil cooler.

996.106.249-00 looks like it is straight. What is the best way to 'bend' a host like this?
Do I place clips here and there so that the hose does not rub against other parts/hoses?

it already has a bend where it connects to the oil cooler. You dont and shouldn't try to put any bending in it.

Your original hose has just worn itself into a different shape then what was original. The pn I listed is the correct one to use without doing any modifications to it.

As soon as you gave me the pn, I had ordered.

I was just concerned because the old hose looked like it was rubbing against something where it ruptured. Yep, that's what happened to the old hose.
