Yeah, I left the stock OEM amber bulbs in the tail lights. I actually tried the silver bulbs that flash amber on the side markers and found that when lit at night, they don't flash as bright as the amber bulbs did, and so put the amber bulbs back. The all clear look is cool in the daylight, but with as many cars as there are here in Manhattan I want to be SEEN on the road clearly at night if you know what I mean. I figure at least I got rid of all my outer amber on the car, which really annoyed me. Another benefit of taking off the rear emblem imo, is that it makes the car look wider from the rear. Easy to take off emblem btw. Just run some tooth floss under it, and saw it right off. Then rub the residue off with your finger and then wax it. Voila. Cheers. |

I have mine in front of the windshield. You know the plastic housing around that area. I have no idea what the actual name is but i put all my antennas in there and it does not bother the reception at all. I have my GPS and Radio antenna in there. Sorry for the terrible explination as to where that is, but im sure you understand. Let me know if u want pictures. |

ohio..here's my $.02. IMHumbleO, I think either keep the Boxster emblem or leave it clean. If you put a "supercharged" emblem on it, kinda look cheesy...just smoke them in the stop light...action speaks louder than words :D and that new tail lights make your car 6 yrs. younger  |
I know it has cheese written all over it but sounded good at the time.
|
is the supercharged letters in porsche writing or what?
|
No not Porsche script but in cursive.
|
ohio - nice tail lights -- where did you get them and how much? these aren't the $399 ones are they??? those are the smokes ones -- not the clear?
let's see some pics with the brakes lights on, just the tail lights on, and with the flashers on.....if you want to share the LED's that is. thanks! |

Thanks, RandallNeighbor. Your prayer need not be blasphemous nor pompos. Something appropriate, humorousm Porsche-like and humble is all we. . . . .pray for. I think the congregation is relying on your leadership to get us started. See my post in General Discussions. http://986forum.com/forums/boxster-general-discussions/8209-porsche-prayer.html May the (force)power be with you. |

Too bad Randall isnt here today the sun came out. [QUOTE] Thanks man. The tail lights are looking good. |
Those look nice.
I always liked the 550 special edition tail lights on a guards red Boxster. Might be too much red (if there is such a thing) for some.
