Front suspension refresh question.

I have a MY 2001S with 62km. It is rolling on original suspension parts. I have creaking in the front end and a tiny bit of play in the right side forward control arm monoball. In the near future I will refresh the front end (struts, s mounts and bearings, control arms + links, tie rods, sway bar bushings).

On searches I found discussion about using 987 control arms (need both arms because of enlarged bushing).

I don't track, but carve Colorado mountain canyons. I'm not interested in changing the ride height.

A couple of questions. Do the 987 arms bolt up with no modifications and maintain the same geometry?

Are there advantages of fiting the 987 arms up front?
