Sport Seats back from upholstery shop and other interior pics

Some of you guys will remember my Biarritz White/Metropol Blue Base 2000 Boxster I drug home the first of the summer. What started as a pretty simple, straightforward project has gone deep down the rabbit hole. My little Outlaw Boxster

I've always liked the look of the Martini Racing Team livery and this car is my tribute to the Martini/Porsche Racing Team cars.

Still a lot to do, but here's some recent interior pieces and parts starting to come together.

The Sport Seats started as a worn gray pair I found back in June. There's a terrific upholstery shop in Edmond, OK that was patient enough to turn my vision into an absolutely awesome set of seats; Metropole Blue leather with Martini Team plaid inserts.

Some of the interior things I've done so far include a GT3 console delete, swapping most of the black soft touch trim pieces for the earlier black hard plastic pieces and adding Metropole Blue soft touch pieces where they made sense (dash cap vent pieces, Bose dash speakers, steering column trim pieces), rear speaker kit, CDR-220 radio sent back to Becker for a refresh, center console sent to Bumper Plugs for painting, new parking brake, steering wheel and shifter, silver "S" door pulls, swapped the black instrument panel for the Aluminum look white panel, and I'm sure a bunch of other things I cant recall at midnight. I also have a new Metropole Blue soft top w/ glass rear window ordered, and the car is scheduled to have it installed at the same upholstery shop the week of Thanksgiving.

Anyway, I'm still in the hunter/gatherer phase of finding everything I want, so everything isn't installed yet, but here's some random pics of what I'm putting together. As you can imagine, finding some of these NOS pieces and getting the seats reupholstered hasn't been easy or cheap. But - it's only money - I'll just go earn some more.

I've also spent a fair amount of time/energy/money this summer on a few of my other Boxsters getting wheels refinished, new tires, several received new soft tops w/glass rear window, some serious detail work, and replacing a whole load of previous owner f-ups and shoddy work.

It's been a fun summer getting everything together. And as always, I have to thank Jon (78F-350) and Woody (Itsnotanova) for their advice and hand holding when I can't figure something out or I need their expertise. Thanks guys - I'm looking forward to seeing you both at HooptieX this coming weekend.

More to follow this fall that I'll add to the original thread.

It's looking good! I've been out burning Jet fuel all night, hopefully Friday night is a little slower. I'll bring along another part or two to HooptieX in case you can use them.

If you have time, I hear they are looking for volunteers to sign up still for course workers: https://volunteersignup.org/EXTX8?

The sportback seats came out great! And the red GT3 seats aren't too shabby either!
